Halstead Property
Halstead Property is an American residential real estate brokerage firm, headquartered in the Manhattan borough of New York City, New York.
The company was founded in 1984 by Clark P. Halstead, previously a founder of Sotheby's Realty,〔Staff (July 1, 1984). ("Postings; London Luxury" ). ''The New York Times''. Since being founded, the firm has grown to nearly 1,000 sales and rental agents throughout its 26 retail offices located in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.
In 2001, the business was acquired by Terra Holdings, a New York-based real estate development and management holding company, making it the largest real estate brokerage in New York City.
